What is hot water extraction cleaning?

'Steam cleaning', or hot water extraction, is the process of using extremely hot water and suction to remove any dirt, oils and grime from carpet or upholstery. We use a truick mounted system for most premises, however, if we can't reach usnig our truck mounted system (e.g. a high rise apartment) we have a portable unit that works just as efficiently.
Do I need to move my furniture?

It is important you remove all 'breakables' from the areas to be cleaned, regardless of the cleaning service you have booked in! For details of our cleaning process, please refer to our webpage on carpet and upholstery cleaning. With the Basic Clean we work only on your traffic areas, hence no furnitutre needs to be moved. However, for our Premium and Deluxe Cleans, our one man service will move and replace all resonable weighted furiture for you.
How long will it take for my carpet and upholstery to dry?

Generally if your carpet or upholstery is cleaned in the morning it will be dry by the afternoon. This however is dependent on the weather and drying conditions. For example, windows open or fans on will quicken the drying time. We also provide a deluxe clean which is pad drying and providing air movers to quicken the drying time. If wanting your carpets to dry quicker on a rainy day the deluxe clean is what we recommend.
How often should I clean my carpets?

We recommend you clean your carpets at least once per year. This is best for the health of your carpets and you. High traffic areas or areas with pets will require more frequent cleaning.
Do I need to vaccum my carpets prior to you doing the clean?

No, vacumming your carpet is part of our service! Although our hot water extraction method provides a thorough deep clean, we believe vacumming first is the best treatment for your carpets.
How soon can I walk on the carpet after cleaning?

If you must enter the room you can walk on your carpets straight away - but always ensure your feet are clean before making that first step onto your carpet. Our recommendation is to leave your carpets for 6 hrs.
Do you guarantee stain removal?

We are stain removal experts and will do out best! All stains are different however - the cause of the stain and previous treatments will influence our ability to remove it. We have many 'tricks' (e.g. heat transfer) we can apply, but we can't guarentee stain removal.
